Rohacell A Performance Foams
ROHACELL A is closed-cell rigid foam based on polymethacrylimide (PMI) chemistry that is completely free of CFC’s and engineered to meet the demanding requirements of the aerospace industry.

The mechanical and thermal properties of ROHACELL A match those of the standard material ROHACELL IG. But thanks to stringent quality control and the availability of the extensive documentation required for aircraft construction—we meet, for example, MIL and CMS specifications—ROHACELL A can also be used in this area, too. Our material specification sheet is delivered along with the material.
Because of its relatively large pore structure, ROHACELL A is particularly suitable in aerospace applications for prepreg processing, but vacuum infusion processing can also be used at temperatures up to 130°C and pressures up to 0.3 MPa.
