Adjustable force gas struts are perfect for when the force required for the application is unknown.

Adjustable force gas struts come pre set to the maximum force the gas strut is rated to. There is a release valve at the end of the strut which allows gas to be vented out of the strut, lowering it’s force

When you purchase adjustable force gas struts they come pressurised to their maximum force which allows you to then gradually release pressure with an allen key from the neck of the gas struts via the grub screw.
